I've got a restless gypsy soul, I've lived all over america. All the cool and amazing places I've been add another bucket of water to the pool of inspiration I'm always drawing from. From seven summers in Yellowstone National Park, a resort in Florida, to Bar Harbor, Maine, each stop on this crazy sometimes crooked path I'm on has given me so many colors and images. I love vibrant color, muddy earth tones do not take up much space in my heart. My work is charachterized by bold color relationships and a luminous style. I paint from joy and aim for beauty. I have no defined style, I'm a self taught artist so each painting comes as a surprise to me and since I havent been taught I feel I have to explore each painting new. That is the joy, the discovering what is working and what isn't, the trial and error.
